Tank Mania – Combination Day One

Experience the fun and excitement of driving tanks & vehicles over a variety of challenging courses set in a World War II bombing range.
Choose from archery, quads, hovercraft, shooting and paintball to make an action packed day of adventure!

What are the activities?
Your full day will consist of 3 activities:
Activity 1: Tank Paintball
Activity 2: Quad Bike Safari or Hovercraft
Activity 3: Clay Pigeon Shooting or Archery

What does the activity include?
3 activities
Tea and coffee throughout the day
A buffet lunch with refreshments
All paintballs and ammunition where applicable
All participants are issued with tank suits, protective and helmets
Professional tuition will be given

TANK PAINTBALL (2 hrs)
Learn to drive a FV432 tank, taking turns to negotiate the tricky tank course set in a World War II bombing range. Then engage in all-out armoured warfare with your 40mm paintball cannon against your opponent.

HOVERCRAFT (1hr)
To drive a unique craft using good balance, fine judgement and forward thinking. “It’s like driving a car with four flat tyres on ice”. Join in the time trials around the land based course.

QUAD BIKE SAFARI (1hr)
A safari adventure including a variety of fast open ground and challenging woodland terrain.

CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING (1 hr)
With experienced instructors you will learn to use a shotgun safely. The clay pigeon traps are positioned to accommodate all levels of experience and simulate a variety of specific game.

ARCHERY (1 hr)
An outdoor range designed specifically for archery practice over distances ranging from 20 yards for novices up to 80 yards for experts.

What should I wear?
Comfortable outdoor clothing and suitable footwear. Boots or Wellingtons in wet weather are advisable.

How long should I allow for this experience?
A full day, from 10am to approx 3.30pm. Timings flexible.

When does the activity take place?
Selected weekdays. April – October inclusive.

What about the weather?
This activity is weather dependent. In the case of severe weather conditions this activity will be rebooked (subject to availability).

What else do I need to know?
We can upgrade your catering package for an additional cost.

What are the minimum and maximum numbers?
Minimum 10, Maximum 48

What is the cost per person?
£210 per person inclusive of VAT based on a minimum of 10 people.

Please note the meeting room is very informal and ‘rustic’ although extremely functional. We are happy to send photos if you are in doubt.

Are there any restrictions?
The participant will need to be agile enough to get in and out of the military vehicles and be medically fit enough for all of the activities. If the participant has any doubts about medical fitness, they should consult their doctor. A participant should always seek advice from a doctor if there is any known heart complaint or other medical complaint e.g. neck or back problems which may be aggravated by this activity.
No persons under the age of 8 are permitted on the military vehicles. Anyone under the age of 16 yrs must have their disclaimer signed by a Parent/guardian. Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted on site. The maximum height for participants is 1.93m (6ft 4”). The maximum weight is 139kg (22 stones).
